Our Mission

We share the hope of Jesus Christ with orphans and impoverished children through Gospel-centered Christian education, with the goal of making disciples and planting churches.

A Word of Thanks

It is our belief that the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20) was given by Jesus to the Church. Therefore, it is our delight to partner and serve with God’s people in order to carry out our mission of sharing the hope of Jesus Christ with orphans and impoverished children through Gospel-centered Christian education. But our mission does not end there. Our goal is to see that both disciples of Jesus Christ are made and churches are planted by our missionary partners. By God’s grace and because of the support of God’s people, we were able to carry out this mission in 2019 and see the lives of the poor and orphaned transformed in the power of the Gospel.

As our schools are the main aspect of our ministry, I am happy to report that over the course 2019, our student population grew to 344 children between three schools in Africa. Each one of these children are receiving a Christian education, nutritious meals, and the opportunity to know Jesus as Savior and become a part of a church.

At the beginning of 2019, two exciting events happened within our ministries. First, we helped start a new school in a country in the northwestern region of Africa in partnership with a missionary who has been serving in this context for over a decade. A new facility would later be constructed that opened in October. Also in January, our first secondary school started in Zambia with an 8th grade class of students that are from the very first kindergarten class that began in 2011. It is incredible to see what God is doing in the lives of these students as many have professed faith in Christ.

Through our mission trips, we were able to take 32 individuals from our church partners here in the United States in order to serve in various ways. These projects included conducting Vacation Bible Schools, discipleship training, community outreach, and our annual pastors’ conference in Zambia. By God’s grace, many professions of faith were made as we conducted outreach events in the surrounding villages. Praise God for His faithfulness to BCA!

Your partnership is vital, and we thank you for your continued support.
